Jorge has been working in the Plastics industry since 1975 and has been involved in product and mould design, toolmaking, trials, production, maintenance, engineering, project management and general management, in a large variety of plastics technologies.
As a Government Certificated Mechanical Engineer, Jorge has vast experience as a Toolmaker, Product & Mould designer, Projects Engineer, Technical Services Manager, Engineering Manager, Factory Manager, Mentor and Training Facilitator, which allows him to engage learners and relate directly to challenges they could face in the workplace.
"Even when I was managing people in Plastics Manufacturing, in addition to sending employees on training courses, I ended up giving them additional training myself, and became very interested in the development of people in this field. I decided to go into it full time, and have been training and developing people on various levels since 1996.
From the beginning we have had a policy where once students have been trained through us, they are always able to call and talk about any problems that may arise, or to brainstorm any new projects that needs to be run."
